NU-02 is not just any store, it arises from an atypical alliance within the fashion sector. The designers Josep Abril, Miriam Ponsa and Txell Miras come to the outing of their collections in a fiefdom of multinationals and franchises.
After their shared experience in Rec.0 of Igualada and the projecte-01 store in the Parisian district of Le Marais,with NU#02 they intend to provide L’Eixample with a reference in the design sector created and manufactured in Barcelona. It also has a place of other independent brands of the city such as Cristina Corres and her bags or the shoes of the Mallorcan Pep Monjo. You can also find pieces of industrial design such as those of Aparentment or the metal furniture of Jonathan Singleton ‘Sig’, also author of the structure of the shop window and the hangers of the store. Located in an old warehouse of electrical equipment of 260m2, NU#02 is a naked shop that respects the spirit of the original space preserving its structure with its many charms and some impurities.
The leit motiv of the store will be the fashion collections of women and men but the intention is that a constant movement that will accommodate various types of proximity designproducts, eminently created and manufactured in Barcelona.
